Как письмо повлияло на мировоззрение (на материале истории письменности в Месопотамии и Древнем Египте)

Уже начальные этапы формирования такого семиотического явления, как письменность, потребовали существенной перестройки мировоззрения. Фонетизация, создавшая разрыв между речью и её представлением в сохраняющихся надолго знаках, определила переход от синтетического восприятия к аналитическому. Движение от счёта товаров к первым лексическим спискам позволяет структурировать внешнюю реальность. На разных этапах происходит взаимное влияние искусства на письмо и наоборот, и их взаимодействие даёт начало рефлексии, когда появляется так называемая «литература мудрости». Общие этапы трансформации мировоззрения оказываются весьма сходными несмотря на то, что образование слоя грамотных людей и последовательность освоения фольклорного наследия происходят по-разному в Месопотамии и Древнем Египте.
